The saga began in 1990, four roommates sat down and created a Halloween event that went down in history. For three years the members of the Arapahoe House poured their creative energies into producing an Halloween Party of legendary proportions. Unfortunately since everyone there was really drunk no one remembered much of what happened, they only awoke with a strange sense of contentment, and a really splitting headache. Images of a bubbling punch, great decorations and entirely too complex costumes are all that remained.

After three years of hosting the party the personal toll on the Arapahoe House (especially the hot tub) became too great to continue. That and everyone graduated and moved away. But four years later the creative spark, ummm... sparked, and the party was reborn. Sure, only one of the original roommates was left, but even his new roommates (sort of) remembered the party and decided the time was right to continue the saga. The three roommates got together and began a new party, designed to take advantage of all the advances in technology while still maintaining the same atmosphere of the past.

The result was a party in 1997 that absolutely no one remembered. With a house full of amazing decorations, mandatory costumes, and a punch regulated by the FDA, the saga was reborn. Sure it took 6 months to clean up, but Halloween97 set a new standard in parties. Halloween98 (Attack of the Killer Mutant Zombie Squirrels) grew to epic proportions with two bands, animatronics, and the first appearance of the squirrels. Quite simply it was the most incredible party ever seen.

OK, about the squirrels. It's simple, SQUIRRELS ARE EVIL. They are the evil fuzzy minions of satan. 'Nuff said.

Squirrel Wars, Halloween99 The Fuzzy Menace, continues the nine year epic. This is probably the final year the party is held in a home (apparantly (house) size does matter), but WSR Productions is armed with a bigger budget, more motivation, more bands, and more squirrels. Halloween99 promises to set new standards for the Halloween party experience.

What makes these parties so special? Mandatory costumes, complex themed decorations, animatronics, live bands, and a punch illegal in 27 states. Sure we've gone totally overboard, but it's worth all the effort after seeing the expressions of wonder on everyone's face- right before they get totally smashed. Thanks to our dedicated staff and months of preparation guests this year will experience a new level in Halloween entertainment. We guarantee it or you'll be provided with a full refund.
